I just love Jace's preschool! Today they had a really cute Mother's Day program. He was so excited that Nick could also come with Ella and I to see him. I took a video of the two songs that they sang. He's a little bit shy about smiling at the end of the song, but was all smiles after the videos stopped rolling! Enjoy!
I spent the last 4 days with my nieces and nephews in Elko. Nick's sister and husband were gone, and so I had some fun practicing what it would be like as a mom of 6! They were good kids and the time spent was fun. On Saturday, Grandma and Grandpa Welsch took us fishing. Here's some pictures.

While we're playing catch-up on our blog, I thought I'd post some pictures from our family ski trip in March. Here's two videos. Half way through the first video, you'll see me helping Ella ski down the mountain. The second one is Jace demontrating his newly improving ski skills. He likes to go really fast - he says (like his Uncle Tom) who by the way is an excellent snow boarder, and really does go super fast. But we've been trying to get Jace to slow down and practice staying in control. He does pretty well in that second video. I thought it would be so hard to take both of our kids out skiing. But as long as we stayed on the bunny hill, it was actually a lot of fun and really not too hard at all!
